Do you remember when my desktop f*cked up and I spent days trying to recover my docs. Well, that wasn¿t the only thing that¿s messed up¿¿¿¿.
As you know I have got my two computers (my desktop and laptop) that can access each other on the network. Well, kind of. They both see each other on the network and my desktop can access my laptop, no problem.
The only problem is, my laptop can't access my desktop, not because I'm getting some error, but because I'm getting prompted for a password whenever I try to access the desktop on the network!
The strange thing is, it prompts me with a login screen, but it will only allow me to use the guest account on my desktop. First of all, I don't even think you can set a password for the guest account, but other than that, the guest account on my desktop has been turned off.
Whenever I do turn on my guest account, I am prompted with an error message. Saying that I'm not allowed to access that computer because
"Login failure: the user has not been granted the requested login type at this computer."
Any suggestions guys
Yeah but what's a news server?
LOL a news server is like an online forum, you get NNTP instead of HTTP links.
For instance:
MICROSOFT
nntp://news.microsoft.com
VIRGIN
nntp://news.virgin.com
The above are news servers and host "online forums" where others can chat about the Internet, services, the weather (LOL), products etc...
Ah right gotcha, thanks!
