I would like to upgrade the graphics card in my pc (VGC-RC102) from the installed nvidia geforce 6600 with its 256mb of memory to a card with at least 512mb. I am confused....is it pci-express or is it AGP? Can anyone help?

Hi Olaf,
Your nVidia 6600 is a PCI Express card.
You have just one PCI Express 16X slot - the other three expansion slots are PCI slots (Probably 1X). Two are empty and one has the TV Tuner installed.
Any graphics card should fit as you have an empty slot next to it to take the overlapping cooling bits but check the power requirements of any new card. The Power Supply is not powerful enough to take some of the most modern, very powerful cards.
One problem of changing the card will be that you will probably lose the use of the AV sockets on the front of your Vaio.
