The MSS1 PWA ALL is this whilst the MS01 Thermal Sheet is for helping dissapate the heat from your CPU or it is there to protect other bits from getting too hot.
that's what i found out.... now seeing as though the original unit cost was a little more than that to buy, wouldn't it have been a more cost effective to just replace the computer and be done with it..... lol
but then with sony's buying power, or manufacturing prowess, i dare say it would have cost no more than around £50 - £60 for them to repair it.... + Labour of course....
still.. what's done is done, and my baby is on it's way back.... hopefully for the original problem never to return in it's lifetime again
will definately be taking out the extended warranty though, not gonna be looking forward to one of these repair bills if it happens again outta warranty:smileyblush:
