Help Memory will not upgrade

Can anyone help?

I have a Vario PCG-K415B and wish to upgrade the memory from 512mb to 1 gig. I have installed the new memery which has come in 2 512mb. The problem is my computer only sees a maximum of 512mb never 1gig? I have tried every combenation but can never get it to see over 512mb.

Have the right BIOS for the computer and have brought the memory from Crucial DDR

Any one have some solution for this problem

Have you swapped the modules over? Are they exactly the same specs wise?
