I tried to connect to a projector to see if I could watch Blu-ray movie on it - couldn't do it.
Now with my VGN AR 31S is seemingly back to normal except all video playback is very dark, as if I'm watching it through a smoked glass window.
The desk top is normal and I have it set again at 1920 x 1200 @ 32bit true colour. Visualisations on media player are normal, but when I try a blu-ray movie through BD player, or watch a music video I've downloaded through either VLC player or media player, it's very dark.
I haven't a clue what I've done to it. Please help!
Thanks in advance.
I don't know any additional information I could give you all that would allow you to help me.
I can still play games perfectly, The Witcher works perfectly.
It must be something that's common to all players, but I can't find it. The only thing I can see that's a little suspect is that my "system video memory" is zero
Hi Whiskey
Hopefully you received my PM.
Try this: -
Right-click on a blank part of your desktop
nVidia Control Panel
Video & TV Settings
Video Colour Settings
Select Video Overlay
Restore Defaults (or you can adjust the settings manually)
Hope this works - if not you could try Uninstalling the Video Driver and rebooting to reinstall it.
