How to asign cover art?

Hi, I'm loving my vaio pocket but at present haven't finished loading all my cd's because i want to load the cover art for them. At present i have to download the jpeg's from amazon or play.com which is extremely time consuming, is there any way to get the images that come from wma albums onto the player? I know the album covers must be in the wma file but can't find a way to access them. Some friends mp3's they've given me have the album art unlocked but i can't find a way to do it. Its a real shame Gracenotes music id program doesn't supply this info, and i wouldn't have to go to such lengths then to load the cover art! Cheers

2 ways:

- assign cover in the SS library before transfering.

- transfer art to the vaio photo folder, then when playing the album, select this photo as cover art.

do you have a prob in getting the jpegs or by assigning them to the files?

to find them i use google->images
it is time consuming as you said, but you get a lot of choices.

if the prob is in attaching them, you can see another thraed that has the same topic, you'll find everything you need in there.

there is a program around that wil automatically retrive album art from amazon, but it relies on being able to read your mp3 tags properly (and they're correct)

i think its better if you do it manually and one by one as you can check that the pic is good or big enough and also, you prevent any mistakes or as bentate menitoned, wrong tag-reading.

I can assign them, thats no problem its just i can't get the album art that comes on the files cover on windows media player. i think there's a way to get it from there but not sure how. So far I've been doing it as suggested using images off amazon or play.com but its not ideal, would have liked to get them direct from gracenote but not sure if thats possible. Also a bit worried about the battery life, if i leave it for a few days unused I find its battery flat, is this normal? cheers

If you rip a cd using windows media player into wma format the program dumps the jpg in the same folder as the wma files NOT in the wma file. If you however just play the cd using windows media player the jpg of the cover art that appears when the cd is playing is dumped in the temporary internet files folder.
