I have a question regarding my new sz3 with the tpm module and a fingerprint sensor using windows xp.
I set everything up so that I can log on via fingerprint. Unfortunately, the next thing I have to do is to enter my passwort for the infineon tpm security platform. In the online help I found that it should be possible to use the fingerprint instead of the hardcoded password but how?
There should be the option in the tpm software of "extended authentication" (sorry, translating from German - not quite sure if that's correct) where I should be able to choose my preferred authentification method.
But there is no option "extended authentication". The manual says that the option appears when an authentification device (like the fingerprint) is installed. IMHO that's done without a problem since the fingerprint is working perfectly.
ANy suggestions are more than welcome.
