Is accidental Damage covered under 1 year Warranty?

Hi, I've had my notebook less than 2 months and the screen has got a crack in it, a result of it being dropped I can't seem to find anywhere on the site whether this is covered in the warranty, or should I claim from John Lewis or my credit card?

I would doubt very much that accidental damage would be covered by Sony. Although; It would be worth looking into and checking you home insurance as a last resort.

unfortunately the standard warranty does not cover accidental damage..

Hopefully you can claim on your credit card insurance or as drinkfeckarse has suggested maybe try your house insurance.
