K115 IS SLOW

Hi,
I ve got my K115 for 3 or 4 months now. I installed severals programs. Now, it seems to be slower than before... (for example, when i open the "my computer" icon, it takes between 5 and 6 seconds whereas it was appearing in the same second before). Do you know why? Do i have to re-install everything again or is there anything special to do (is there an application or something which can identify the possible problem)?

ITS NOT A TRICK... ITS A SONY!

the comparisons of my sony's to other notebooks were terrible...
at least i have the feeling that i have bought a good tft screen connected to a notebook...!

same for me.
I thought it was due to the 4200rpm Hard Disk after installing software but I thing now it's the system.

PGC-FR285E ( Athlon XP-M 2400+ HD 40 Go RAM 512 Mo age 10 months)

What a pity ! even after restoring a very clean backup i made with GHOST after installing essential software 3 days after I bought it..

Thats pretty bad.
Nothing much I can suggest - some notebooks are faster than others.
