Media Gallery intrusion.

When I’m installing or accessing an app.  I keep getting Media Gallery trying to
install itself This seems uncontrollable . I’ve tried cancelling each screen which
stops it for a while but that is very time wasting and I’ve tried letting it go
on but that ends up with a message saying ‘the location for this application is
unavailable and asks for a CD. Tried using the utilities to remove Gallery but
no use.

Also, writing e mails and word messages is a real pain as
frequently great sticks of print appear in the wrong place,  they just “Flit!”

The notebook is 9 months old and this fault has been
appearing for some weeks.  I thought it
must be me but it’s getting worse.

If you want, you can simply uninstall it via Control Panel under Add or Remove Programs.
