Multi-Card-Reader

I've got a VGN-FE11M, which has an "Multi-Card-Reader". The Card-Reader should be able to read SD-Cards, but actually it isn't. Has anybody a hint for me?

Hi, I can only tell my problem with the Card-Reader. I try to delete something from a Trans-Flash Card which be used with an SD-Card-adapter and that did not function. With an other Card-Reader I had no problems.

It's simple: The reader have a bad design.

Some SD cards have the methalic contacts more at the "edge" (of the plastic SD case) than others. For those SD cards, with tiny margins, works fine; for the others, with the contacts with a larger margin, don't.

Try yourself keep the SD Card full pressed with your finger within the adapter, and your system will read it for shure.

Before you buy a SD Card brand, try it If it works.
