Problem with LCD monitor - VGN-C1S

Hi everybody! I have a problem with my VGN-C1S VAIO for quite sometime - but not since I bought it. It seems that every time I disconnect the AC adapter the monitor starts to flicker very quickly. If I plug it in again it stops, and so on. I have to change the display properties or restart the notebook to stop flickering when disconnected.
Does anyone know what's the problem and how I could fix it? Thanks in advance!

Hi nikolas_sofias and welcome to Club Vaio.

Are you using Windows XP? There don't seem to be any updates on Vaio-Link.

This doesn't seem to be a common problem and sounds like a poor contact in the circuitry or a Power Management glitch.

I would telephone Sony Vaio-Link and register your problem.

They may have a solution or ask you to send your Vaio in for repair.

Thanks very much for the advice Blencogo. Actually I'm still using WinXP fully updated but the problem still persists. I guess I'll have to call Vaio Service Center thought I have traumatic experience from service centers! Thanks anyway for your reply :smileygrin:
