i have a vaio pcg-z1xsp, and i bought an external tft monitor to plug into it and increase my workspace.
however, the monitors native resolution is 1680x1050 (widescreen) but i can't set my laptop to output that resolution. it will do 1600x 1200, but there are no widescreen setting available to me.
at first i thought it may be because the latops gfx card only had 16mb of ram, but then i worked out that 1600x1200 is actually higher than 1680x 1050.
so does anyone know if there is a way i can manually set the resolution or is it just plain not possible with this laptop?
