I was wondering if a intergrated graphics card for the V1 would work or not? Graphic cards like:
-Nvidia NForce series
-Ati Radeon 9100 IGP series
And also would it increase the quality of the graphics better?
(i really want to play on other games but need better graphics )
Thx
You're right Don, but I do hope my help does help those who need it. I'm not really bothered with these monikers Sony give us, as long as the person who needs help leaves with a working PC and problem solved and a smile on their face - thats when I'm happy.

I thought i couldnt do that. ( Kee-Lo said i couldnt )
But anyway, in the PC i hook up with my vaio would i only need a graphics card ? ( I suppose in need hard drive ,memory ,etc )
So i just use my vaio as a screen ?
The only way you could do it is if you got a PCI card, and thats not garunteed.
No one has tested it yet.
no, you would need a full pc, but your graphics card would need video out, so you could plug it into the video in on the vaio...
dont quote me on it though....
im waiting on the hope that retail usb graphics cards are just around the corner..
There's a problem though, how would you connect the display on the V1 to a PCI card? Can't be done...
if the secondry pc has video out you wouldnt need to would you, you would just use the sony in tv mode and switch to the video option, ive hooked up the dreamcast,ps2 and gamecube this way and used the vaio in video mode on gigapocket..
surely it would just be the same wouldnt it?
I guess you could, not really sure as I don't have a V1.
Beware if you do this procedure, it could be disasterous.
Im not going too
I wil wait for USB ones 2
