Question

I have just purchased the Vaio VPCEE2E1E/wi laptop. It was advertised that it had a web button that can take me straight to the web to save my battery. I cannot find the button anywhere. I've skimmed through the manual as well and can't see it mentioned in there either.

Hi Mary,

unfortunately your Vaio does not have the web and Vaio buttons..:smileysad:

Of all the Vaio's in the VPCE series the EE models are the only ones currently, that I am aware of, that do NOT have the WEB & VAIO buttons..

Hy marymay34,

I searched the Sony web-site for your laptop,

I is allmost like mine,i have a VPCEC2M1E/WI but one of the diferents is that your´s dosent have the Web and VAIO buttons.

This is the link to your Vaio laptop configuration:

http://www.sony.co.uk/product/vn-e-series/vpcee2e1e-wi

I think it was a mistake or it was just a Marketing problem,to atract people!

Hi avoro, thanks for the reply and link, that explains things. I bought my Laptop from Dixions. Will complain. I did check the specs on the Sony web page, obviously not enough. Must of got caught up in the marketing problem. I think Tescos said it had a web button as well.
