Sony FE series Dead

Hi all,

I work in a repair centre and have come across a FE sony laptop this morning. I dont have too much detail today but I will do tomorrow once its in front of me.

First diagnosis is that when you push the power switch, the 3 LEDs come on, then off.
the laptop itself does not power on.

Is this heard of at all?

Could be the hard disks totally packed in - but that's a real stab in the dark
