Updating Intel PRO/Wireless 2200 broke my wireless.

Hi,

I updated the Intel PRO/Wireless 2200 driver as recommended by Intel & Sony (see http://www.vaio-link.com/downloads/info/info.asp?l=en&url=Downloads/IN/D/WLL/INDWLL-01035417-UN.exe&... ), and it no longer works.

This problem is not related to the bluetooth issue. If I roll by driver back from 9.0.4.17 to 9.0.1.9, it works fine.

With the newer driver, it sees my router, and attempts to connect, but never does so (though oddly, my router is able to see my laptop and assign it an IP address).

Has this update killed anyone else's wireless?

Can I ask why did you do the update if everything was fine in the first place?

Solution.

 If I roll by driver back from  9.0.4.17 to  9.0.1.9, it works fine.
