Hi, I update graphic card driver today, but when I switched the resolution to 1360x768,the Screen have black bar around it , Like this:
How can I fix this?
Anyone can help?
is there the same problem with any resolution?
Hi,
enable display scaling or use the native resolution of your screen (1920x1200). If it's too small use a bigger DPI value.
Hi. Except 1920x1200 resolution, any other resolution still have same problem. And I can't do anything in my Nvidia Control Panel :
Coco15man,
please use 1920x1200.
As others have said, it's the native resolution of your display and the only resolution that will give you optimal image quality. When you use a lower resolution, the display has two options - it can stretch the lower resolution across the whole screen which results in some distortion of the image - or - it can just show the low resolution image pixel exact and black out the unused pixels on the display. Both of these options are sub-optimal.
I suppose there are two reasons for attempting to use a lower resolution:
1) you want to make some elementon the screen bigger - the proper way to do this is by adapting the Windows DPI settings which are meant for exactly that.
2) you want to reduce the amount of work that the graphic card needs to do to render a frame in your game of choice to improve FPS.
