HI, I have a PCV-V1G UK version of the desktop.It came loaded with the Giga Pocket software toenable recordingof analogue TV. Can anyone tellmeif there is an upgrade available to enable the recordingof digital transmissions on MPEG2, 3 and 4.

Hi mouricao,

Sadly no.  The TV tuner in your Vaio can only receive analogue signals.

You would need an external DVB-T tuner and software.

That is one of the things it lacks. Having a ready converter program solves this problem.
