HI everyone!
Do you know if VAIO Camera capture utility and vaio recovery center are available from the official site of sony?
my notebook is VGN-CR31S/L and i want to format my disk.
So i am afraid that i will not have the software of camera and i wiil lost all the preinstalled vaio software.
my notebook does not come with any dvds.

Please, before format anything... you need to create the recovery discs. (Use CD's or DVD's from Sony).

* I cannot find the recovery discs in the box supplied with my VAIO.

Not all Sony and third party applications can be downloaded directly as they are copyrighted. They can be installed from the hard disk. More info here...
If any drive is missing, you can count with the recovery disc... :smileygrin:
i ve done this with vaio recovery center. i ve already created 3 dvds.
i forgot to tell you that i want to install vista business in my notebook.
windows home premium is preinstalled.
so, what about my problem above?

Also, we can re-install the driver software for the camera directly... Follow these steps:
1) Click Start, Control Panel, Hardware and Sound, Device Manager
2) Double Click Imaging Devices
3) Right-Click the device name for your camera and click Update Driver Software
