Vaio Standalone Model PCV-A1111M manual.

Dear Forum,

I have had a Sony Vaio standalone computer for about two years, [model PCV-A1111M], and due to some mental block, I cannot remember what has happened to the user manual. Did it come on a separate disc, [or perhaps a hard copy, - unlikely]? Either way, I can't locate it.

Can anyone please advise how I go about getting / downloading another manual?

Hi Lothringer15.

You can usually find it on-screen: -

Click Start -> All Programs -> VAIO Documentation.

If you want to download a .PDF copy, you will need to find the correct model type.  You seem to be quoting the chassis model number which is shared by several models.  It is probably something like a stand alone VPCL11M1E - see if you can find a similar model type. You can then download the manual - here is the one for the VPCL11M1E: -

Thank you very much for getting back to me.

You are absolutely right with your observation that I had quoted the wrong serial number, and in fact, the number you suggested turned out to be correct. [Found in a little insert under the screen, at the front].

I now have the user manual, and all is fine.
