exactly my man, and judging by what i was reading about ss 3.0 problems i think 2 seconds to ask them (through the link i put up) is worth it. im still using ss 2.3, theres no chance im upgrading after what ive been reading from you guys!

You see, I don't think it'll happen, and no, it's not RealNetworks who are to blame, it's Sony. They don't like sharing their code or knowledge with ANYONE, thats why there's only SonicStage to control MD players.

All these problems can be solved if you use SS for stuff for your VP and real / Itunes / my Coke for everything else!

The Atrac codec is smaller, better sounding & designed for Sony products! so bloomin use it!!

Its not like most of us are running out of HD space, make a copy of the track in each codec if Atrac bothers you that much!!

If you want Sony quality, battery life & design Atrac is what you should use!

I also don't think Sony wanted to go to MP3, it was peer preasure.
