The problem is that the Wireless LED switches off unexpectedly and suddenly without doing anything. The switch is physically on but the LED is not lighted and hence it cannot detect any wirless connections.

Hi Lana13,

If this is happening when on battery power check that the wireless device has not been set to allow the computer to turn off the device to save power.

Control Panel > Device Manager > expand Network Adaptors > Right click the wireless device and select properties > Power Management tab.
