What is my Notebook

Hi

Inherited this notebook internally and want to know more about it? Its a PCG 8N2M. I wondered if it has built in WiFi networking. Is there a data sheet on this model.

Help.
Thanks

Unless you have a 2 year warranty it's not worth registering it, you'll pay £12 / call and a lot for repairs!

The info I've provided is what it says in the Sony Vaio Setup, so I can't provide anymore detail. Even if I try to register for E-Support, where it tells you to put in the serial No, it won't accept all the digits. It illustrates in the help file that the no begins with 28(for europe) and illustrates a total of 15 digits, but the field only accepts 8 characters. I can't even email them to tell Sony that. I wanted to register that so I could find more about this model. One of the things was to try and establish whether there is built in Wireless Connectivity.

So there is nothing wrong with it at the moment. I also want to remove the folder of the former user, which is under the Documents and Settings Folder. I am now the Administrator and my files are under that as well, but it won't let me remove his folder. I've got the FULL Admin rights, in case anyone asks me.

I've just set an Acer Notebook up and configured its wireless connectivity and that is fine, but can't see if this model has it.

Thanks to all those so far trying to find out about this.:smileycry:
