well answers please? and why?
For me no because i do not trust their quality checks, i think they try and rush out the latest fashion craze and then get on with designing the next.
Their driver downloads/documentation are dismal to say the least
For me, it has to be performance first. I couldn't care less about style, as its periodical, but anyway.
To be honest, I have a Sony for its looks and nothing else really...
Oh and its large screen
For functionality I have my desktop machine - beast of a thing it is, and makes concorde sound like a mute mouse !!!!
So for me, I'll stick with Sony for now. No need to change my new laptop now anyway.
Just need a decent carrier for it. Time to go look at the laptop bag discussion again.
Never again!
Terrible technical support, overpriced spare parts...
Next time i´ll buy a noname notebook. Same qualiy but half price.

Maybe the Concorde sound is welcome-after all, there soon won't be a Concorde to fly on...
Yeah, its a shame.
Hope Mr Branson makes a go of it
The man knows what he's doing, otherwise he wouldn't bid for it. Good luck to him I say
Yea, he must have some sort of reconditioning place that he can get a good deal from.
I think we ought to open a thread in General Chat about this...
Before anyone rushes off to Dell or Compaq, I'd recommend that you take a careful at their service issues. I am totally fed up with Dell for consistently failing to address my service problems. I looked at Compaq, but after waiting 3 months for laptop, promised in 10 days, delivery date shifted without explanation four times, I did wonder about their committment to customer service and cancelled.
So far I'm very happy with my Vaio and would buy again, but I haven't needed to try the service.
