My MDR-1000X headphones stopped charging about a month ago. I did not matter how long were they connected to the USB power cable, they would always indicate low battery and my iPhone would report they had only 20%. A couple of minutes of use later, they would just shut down and tell me to recharge the battery.
I assumed that the battery just went dead so I ordered a new one and replaced it.
To my surprise, the battery was not bulky or had any signs of being defective, but I went ahead and replaced it.
However, the problem is still there. The set will just not charge and always indicate low battery, so now I assume it is a software issue.
I performed a hard reset on them, but the problem is still there... any solutions?
