My NW A015 does not play through the Aux In on all devices. The wired output on the walkman works through the aux in port on a small speaker I have and works through wired headphones but I can't get it to work through the Aux In on my Roberts mp sound 43 cd/radio/aux in player. The music is playing on the walkman but there's no sound coming out of the Roberts. I can play music from my Samsung phone through the Roberts player so that doesn't appear to be the problem, and I have tried a number of different cables. Can anyone help please?

It's good that it's working, but you should probably try clearing the app data and cache from the settings for that app. (android.process.media) If there isn't an app -which I'm suspecting since this seems to be a system process- try going for a factory reset.
This wouldn't be a convenient thing to do, so only start this when you have the time to set everything back up.
Hope this helps!

Hello @whads354,
which type of wire is connected to your Roberts player? Is it a TRS or a TRRS cable?

Hi Nic,
Thanks for your response. I had to google what you meant but there's two black rings on the head, so TRS I believe.

Hello @whads354,
two black rings is a TRS connector. Is the NW-A105 in a case which might prevent the cable to make full contact? Some plugs have a bigger diameter housing which can get "caught" on cases of smartphones and players.

Thanks guys but it's not the case. I tried 2 cables, both work playing my Samsung phone through the Roberts player but neither work with the walkman, with it's case off. Bizarrely I have a cheap little x-mini speaker with a trs cable and the walkman works with this. Seems weird to me.

Thanks for all your advice, but by accident the problem is solved. When I turn on the walkman I get a pop up msg that says "app android.process.media keeps closing" and gives options to either view info or close app. I would close the app. By selecting view info all that happened was the pop up box disappeared and now the walkman plays through the Roberts. The pop up msg still comes up every time I turn on but it is working now.
