Sony bluetooth headset wh-ch500 paring with tv kd55xe8396

Hello I've just bought a sony wh-ch500 blue tooth headset. I can get it to connect to my smart phone my pc, but not my TV. I can get my phone to pair to the tv without a problem. I have made sure that it is in pairing mode, less the 3 feet form the tv. I have tried to put the headphones in pairing mode before switching the tv on and then going set the tv up to search for it. The tv just keeps on searching forever.

Annoyed as that is what I wanted to use if for.

Hello @Ingchr1970,

maybe your TV doesn't feature audio transmission to an audio device via Bluetooth.

Pairing a phone successfully says nothing - because that is a connection the other way round.

Maybe your TV simply doesn't feature the right bleutooth protocol to work with the headphones.

There are so many reasons why it can't work/won't work.
