Sony mdr zx770bn won’t enter pairing mode

Hi

I have had the Sony mdr zx770bn headphones for just over a year and have always used them via bluetooth with my iPhone without an issue.

They recently would not pair with my iPhone and would not enter pairing mode.

I have performed a reset and restored factory settings.

The headphones should now automatically enter pairing mode when turned on but they do not. I get two blue lights and then a red light.

Even if I try and force pairing mode by holding a the power button for seven seconds I still get the same lights flashing.

I have searched online but can’t find anything that details what this flashing sequence means.

Any help would be much appreciated.
