Sony Wh1000XM3 Bell sound when ANC changes modes

Sony Wh1000XM3 Bell sound when ANC changes modes

I got my Cans yesterday and played around with them for a bit, I also went for a walk in very windy conditions, ca + 5-7C the only problem that I have so far is this bell sounds that were triggered from time to time, I thought as they say in some forums that the touchpad its going nuts and triggering what I taught was the google assistant.

After some more research it seems to come from the adaptive NC while it changes modes, adaptive NC works very well and a lot better that just NC, is there or will it be any possibility in the ap to be able to have adaptive NC on but silencing this bell and that it downs the volume?

I have tried with adaptive off but NC on and the bell sound is gone.

Hello ctvredvirus,

I've found some related settings in the Headphones connect application. Not completely sure if this will mute the bell sound you're referring to. But you can give it a try and let us know if it works! Here are the steps:  https://helpguide.sony.net/mdr/hpc/v1/en/contents/TP0002088741.html

Hi,

The voice guidance is helpful e.g. for on/off and changing modes manually, it would be good if ANC could change modes without dimming the music and ideally sounding that tone, but at least leaving the music going.

Thanks
