So does anyone have a similar problem with their WF-1000XM3.
I noticed that if I turn off Notification & Voice Guide and then try to switch with my left earbud to Ambient Sound Control off, the mic in my right earbud will stay on until I long-press the left earbud to turn on listening mode. After that, the right earbuds mic will also turn off permanently.
Can someone test this setup out and report if I have a faulty device or if the software is just a buggy mess.
To test this:
1. Turn off Notification & Voice Guide
2. Put the buds back in the case and reconnect them
3. Change mode to Ambient Sound Control off
4. Test the right mic with a finger (or if your outside it should pick up wind sound)
At least in my testing, if I repeat the previous steps it will stay on.
Hi WestmanR,
Welcome to the community.
I'll just see if I can find any assistance with this. In the meantime though, maybe someone else may have some ideas.
Thanks,
Pascale
Hi WestmanR,
I've not come across anything similar. Have you tried to reset them at all?

Hi,
Doing a factory reset fixed it for me at least for now.
