WF-1000XM4 reconnects in charging case

I have had the WF-1000XM4 for about a week now and think they are fantastic, just one thing I have noticed that when I put the buds back in the case they turn off fine and the connect app shows them as disconnected but if I look at my phone later on they seem to have connected again, connect app shows in phone notifications and shows them connected and so does my phones bluetooth. If I turn them off via the app then they seem to stay off.

What am I doing wrong?

I noticed it was doing it if my phone and the buds in the case were a couple of cm away from each other. I have tried a couple of things but turning off "Activate Voice Assistant With Your Voice" seems to have sorted it out. Having turned it back on has not reactivated my problem, upto now anyway.

Hey @ShaunD5100, what's your phone brand? and have you tested it with any different phones?

I have a Samsung S20 FE and I have not tested it on any other phone.

Maybe you can reset the buds themselves as a sort of refresh, and test it once more.

Resetting didn't work but as I said in my previous post it stopped doing it when I turned off "Activate Voice Assistant With Your Voice"
