Burn smell in USB port, and no charging

Hello, 

I tried charging my phone today but noticed it was not charging and furthermore... USB port smell like burt.

Removed SD and SIM and also smell same way.

Sometimes device detects charger and starts working but lasts less than a minute.

Is there something I could do?

@Sanj88 I'd advise you to stop trying to charge the device and contact your Local support about the issue. a possible short-circuit anywhere near the battery can be dangerous.

I've noticed that smell too first time my xperia refused to charge . Any news from service ?
