Sony Xperia Z phone suddend Death

Hey Guys

i bought sony xperia z on 11th of march and it got completely dead on 16th march. its not charging no indication on the screen. its not even starting also. i spend 39000 rupees(india currency) for this phone and its dead. sony people is not helping me for the same have to wait for 8 days to get the replacement for the same.

Out of interest, have you tried using a different charger or charging via usb on your laptop/pc etc?

Have you taken the phone to your Sony service centre, did they diagnose any kind of problem or have you just spoken to them over the phone?

Is the delay in replacement due to lack of stock of the new device in your area?

I had the same problem on Friday.

I hope you tried Power+VolumeUP key combination for more than 10 seconds to bring it back to life?

Didn´t work for me, but perhaps for you?

I will get my replacement phone tomorrow. So I got luck with Amazon.

@suze no i used only sony charger. delay in replacement due to lack of stock of the new device.

@gregorg1  it dosent worked i tried to charge the phone with sony charger for more than half hour but no indication on the screen or LED.

if there is a lots of bugs in the phone why sony launch the phone in the market. this kind a problem will affect on their market sell. anyways my trust gone from sony mobiles. 1st thing i am gona do is sell this phone once i get the replacement. SAMSUNG is way better than SONY

I´ve got the same problem and I think till end of march there will be hundrets of bricked phones.

i think the solution is to fix for these bugs at the earlist. and release the fix like in next week or so.......... otherwise i dont think anybuddy will buy sony xperia z.. if they buy they will be disappointed like me in sony.

I have the same problem - the Z died after 1 day. I have now been without a phone for 10 days. I hope Sony take responsibility, appollogy and compensate all the frustrated curstomers. I have been a Sony fan for 15 years, but now I'm in doubt. Sony, please take care of your customers!

man i face the same problem i got my phone on 15 march and used it for two days and then suddendly it turned off and never turned on neither it's charging earlier my device was heating but when i contacted sony service center they said it was common for xperia z i was dissapointed but a day after that this happen i think i wasted my 39k for this crappy phone  just because of it's beauty form now onwards i'm never gonna purchase a sony product.
