I have a Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact since 4-5 weeks now.
My battery doesn't last more than 11-12 hours, even if I don't do anything.
I contacted the Sony support which told me that it was because of my apps that the drain is there. And they advised me to reset everything and install nothing, and see if it is better.
I've done that now, since I was more than frustrated. By doing it, I lost a lot of things, because the backup didn't backup everything on my phone...
Well in short even with nothing on my phone, I didn't configure the email, not even google account. No apps, nothing. So my smartphone is used only to phone, and occasional web browsing (like 5 minutes per day max...)
Now the battery last around 11-12 hours, like before.
Is it normal? Do you experience the same thing? I am asking, because I am new to Android/Sony world. And I am a switch from Apple world... and lots of things in the Android are not making any sense to me (like how the wired headset works and the speakers together...)
