Xperia XZ start hanging alot after nougat update

Hi everyone I purchased this smartphone about 2 month before, in beginning it was working flawlessly n I was satisfied from its performance. But since Obama nougat it's routine performance effected badly because it start heating n hanging during Skype calls browsing Facebook n playing mid processing games.
Even during Skype calls it take lot of time to open whatsapp or Facebook n during that process it becomes hot like pressure cooker. I used Galaxy Note 4 for 2 years n trust me I didn't face anything annoyed like this n don't forget Note 4 has low processing power as compared to this crop. I am really upset from this situation I also make hard reset but that two didn't solve my problem I have installed about 170 different apps including games.
Any solution please

@SDR-1970 - well it started by the android update 7.0
Before the update, i was happy with my new sony xperia after 2 years with a samsung phone..
Very irritating! Also glad to read that i'm not the only one experiencing those flawes.

ive had a swapped phone by ee , android 7 has screwed my answerphone settings up . its hanging my phone up

and its lagging to bits , i phoned up sony and said to them about the problem , and they said try goin safemode etc

there reading from a script , no sony fix ya bugs..

I ususaly perform software repair using Xperia Companion before and after performing an update, and before I restore my backup and install my apps. I observe the phone for bugs and other unusualities to ensure that it is not caused by the apps I installed.

there are still lots of apps that are not optimised for android 7.0 , this might cause the system to slow down so be carefull when you install apps.

Xperia owners should think twice about looking so forward to the next version of Android.... only the Z4 improved, IMO.

Z3 was AMAZING at launch with a battery lasting days and days... reduced to a few hours.

Z4, I will admit, was saved from its overheat issues for the most part and it now close to GREAT. 

Z5 compact was butter and wonderful, now overheats and battery runs out faster than syrup at waffle house.

I truly hope the XZ and X compact each maintain their current brilliance.

Is it just me? sometimes WhatsApp takes so long to open or other apps. It feels like Xperia z

Marshmallow here and apart from Sky Sports, apps open almost instantly. Whatsapp and Facebook are my fastest opening apps.

After the most recent update things are better but the phone is still laggy and scrolling in apps and stuff isn't smooth

Think I've found the reason as to why this android version is laggy and slow, the phone is only using its first 2 cpu cores clocked at 1.5ghz the other 2 cores aren't been used, I've tried opening loads of apps and checking and they are permanently offline.
