Xperia XZ start hanging alot after nougat update

Hi everyone I purchased this smartphone about 2 month before, in beginning it was working flawlessly n I was satisfied from its performance. But since Obama nougat it's routine performance effected badly because it start heating n hanging during Skype calls browsing Facebook n playing mid processing games.
Even during Skype calls it take lot of time to open whatsapp or Facebook n during that process it becomes hot like pressure cooker. I used Galaxy Note 4 for 2 years n trust me I didn't face anything annoyed like this n don't forget Note 4 has low processing power as compared to this crop. I am really upset from this situation I also make hard reset but that two didn't solve my problem I have installed about 170 different apps including games.
Any solution please

This is, without a doubt, the worst phone I've ever had. It's slow and laggy in general but pretty much everytime I try to unlock the phone it hangs for ~5 seconds. The fingerprint scanner doesn't respond for a few seconds and it randomly freezes for a while after unlock.

Zero issues like that with my XZ. It'd the fastest phone I've ever had, and I come from an iPhone 6S+. Mind you, I kept it on Marshmallow because all the Nougat reviews seemed negative with talk of bluetooth issues and lag etc.

Same problem i am also facing after nougat update. I love sony phone but this is worst performance. Phone is lagging and hanging a lot even after low usage. Call list scrolling is worst phone starts to hang after scrolling of call list. Please sort out my problem i have already repaired the software by service center but nothing happened. I m die hard fan of sony from t610. Please solve my problem

This helps. All 4 cores running. 

But wondering why these features are created if they have to be disabled in order for the phone to operate.

same problem here. after update to Nougat, my xz is laging over and over again. I have to restart my xz at least once to twice a day. it is really annoying me. sometimes, the app even couldn't be function.(showing no responding, or  black screen) 

plying the game= lag, watching video= lag, facebook, Ig, wechat, wahtapps, line all lag.. I really dissatisfied with XZ after it update. 

could you advise, is there any other suggestion to resolve the problem, please?

i have the same problem , my battery keeps draining loads and its lagging to bits ive turned the smart cleaner off and also the battery protect , ive only had the phone for a yr...

I have the same problem, extreme lag, battery  drains very fast and I also noticed my mobile getting really hot when charging it. Oh how I wish I didn't need my phone for work....

Dear developers, is somebody going to answer us, all the users that faced such un issue? Is there any progress with it?? 

What further steps should we take to get our (and your as well) problem?

Try the following 

1.Do Software repair using Xperia  Companion. 

2.After installation turn of battery care and smart cleaner 

3.After doing the step 2 turn of the phone and then turn it back on.

Yes i also have a very laggy slow xperia Xz since a few weeks.... Even after pressing home button it takes a few seconds to load the start screen icons..... 

Other things its not reacting  at all and the device is useless to work with.... 

Also when i reboot it seems help a little....AND i get this 'Sony crashmonitor stopped working' warning
