Sony Xperia Z update meltdown

hi. i plugged in my phone to update it today, while updating the phone shut down by itself and now won't turn on because the software update failed, which failed because the phone shut down **bleep**? so now i can't connect it to the pc to get it to update again cause it's consantly turning on/off. someone please help

im charging it now to get it to full health again then to try and update it again.

now after 2 hours in the charger , i still can't get it to either update or reset to factory settings, i really don't think it's charging to it's fullest when turning on/off all the time

Attempt a repair with sony update service.

and btw it's a Z and not a Z1 🙂 just had a brainfart when throwing it inhere

i'm getting it to connect but in the confirmation it says that there's a new software update that need to be installed and then i can either choose to install in normal or reset the phone and then install it... both actions fail and i get told to charge my phone 😕

I moved the topic in the correct section.I do not know,you might want to visit a sony center,it is better.

yeah im callling support from my girlfriends phone in a min. to get a solution... will keep it updated here

If they tell you the same I told you,it is better to take the phone directly there.

no answer from call support yet, so going to the store instead will update further when i get back

do this download http://sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/update-service/ and install it and then select your model follow steps on program connect the phone and hold down volume down at same time while connecting once program tells you to let go of button then do that and let the program do a new re-install of 4.3 into your phone hopefully this will be successfull and get your phone back to life.
