Sony Xperia Z use as a modem

Hi All ,

Just wanted to know , what if I want to use the mobile hotspot and want to use the phone as  a modem to connect my PC with internet. I know It will get heat , and battery will drain so quickly, but If I connect it with charger and use it , will it effect any other way other than heating ??

Your phone will get hot faster as its not just using your data but tethering and charging at the same time, it shouldn't damage your phone
