UI inconvenient experience

Dear Sony Xperia

I have several issues regarding Sony's latest Ui which I have now in my Z5 Compact.

1: I couldn't put some widget on home screen. Simple widget like yahoo weather and other weather apps I tried, can't be put at the home screen, May I know why? N can u fix it? I've tried reboot n reinstallation, but none is working.

2: Also, why in this Ui, everything will start all over again whenever apps are interchaged.
Example 1: I'm browsing my Facebook apps, then comes WhatsApp notification, so I scroll down the notification & view it. Then wish to go back to Facebook. Unfortunately, Facebook will start again on latest news feed. Why shouldn't it start from where I stopped earlier? So that I don't need to scroll down again and again to skip newsfeed that I have gone through? Because interchanging apps is soooo common and it happens within seconds.
Example 2: Sony support apps.. Also need to start from all over again when we interchange apps. It will start all over again when I went to WhatsApp for a while. So need to redo all over again
And many other apps

Hope everyone got the point I meant
Please improve and fix it

Lastly, when will Xperia update to Marshmallow so that I maybe may experience the improvement?

Hope to hear from you soon.
Please mind my English..

Thanks

There's something acting up, this is what I would do. Repair the phone with PCC and only download yahoo widgets, and report back, keep in mind that yahoo apps are poorly coded and create lag on phones.

@Daijo

I'm sorry to hear that, do you have an antivirus or taskiller?

what happen when you add the yahoo widget? could you take screenshots ?

also try this

settings > apps > all > xperia home > clear data > restart the phone > check again.

As for your second point, that only happen when phones run out of RAM, I haven't experienced this on my Z5, but on my T2 Ultra I have, do you have games running in the background?

@uliwooly

I tried your suggestion but nothing better happened.

I installed yahoo weather, weather timeline, nothing happened when I tried adding widget to home screen. It jz acted like nothing happened and no widget appeared. So I couldn't even screenshot to you to show it.

Regarding my 2nd point, I don't think it's because of RAM. I only hv 1 simple game in my phone and I don't play it often. And I always close background apps whenever I'm done using it.

The most right button among the 3 (don't know what it's called, which enables us to interchage apps). Everytime using it to interchage apps, the previous apps will start all over again.. Even games will start over from start page.. Even when scrolling down to view notification and click the notification.. All things will refresh..
Does this mean Xperia UI can't multitask?

Oh, yes Z5 has pre installed antivirus.. Task killer is the most right button? To clear appsc

@Daijo

I've tested this on a Xperia Z5 and Z5 Premium and they work fine, there's probably another app creating this issue, which will make sense since you are experiencing lag and other issues.

@alexdon, could you test it with the Z5 Compact.
