can you use playmemories to play back video?

hey guys

just started using playmemories with my A7S2, and got it connected via my ipad. it works fine as a second monitor and for playing back still images but can it also play back video please or is this feature not supported?

Yes you can

PlayMemories allows one to upload video from camera / camcorder memory then edit and either store to hard drive or burn to disc. Depending on the processor speed the video will play back with or without 'stutter'.

I should perhaps mention that I use Windows 7 but I am sure that Apple iOS systems allow for editing and playback. I do not think however that burning to disc is supported due to a decision made by Apple several years ago regarding optical drives. There is a way around this if you require that facility but not using PlayMemories.
