Hi @sharealamkapadi

If you are looking for a Sony 32” Android TV then your only hope is in the second hand market. Linux is the operating system for smaller models and the entry level value models. Android is only available on medium price models and above with a minimum size of 43” display and they are all Ultra HD. 32” is far too small for Ultra HD. The trend is larger screens so expect the smallest available Sony Android will get larger not smaller. So the simple answer to your question is never.

Hi @sharealamkapadi   Sorry, there is no might about it, you will have to look elsewhere if you want a new 32” TV. 😀

I have a 43” inch TV on the bedroom wall, highly recommended.

@LightFoot

When did Sony ever make a 32” Android set that @sharealamkapadi could even find on the secondhand market? I know there were some HD Android sets in the early days, if not now, but never less than 43” surely?

But if, like us, @sharealamkapadi is constrained for space, I would recommend the Samsung N5300, as one of the few current HD 32” sets, and with the largest complement of smart apps he is likely to find.

Though it might be useful, @sharealamkapadi, to know why you are looking for a Sony Android set particularly, to put you in the way of some other 32” set that maps onto your particular wants and needs, if such a TV model there be.

Hi @sharealamkapadi

Have you considered buying a quality 32” TV and simply adding a streaming stick like a Fire TV stick or Roku TV stick. This would give you the best of both worlds.

Did you find the N5300 especially poor? We run two M5520s, of which one has an Orbit Soundbar, but the other just sits on the kitchen wall; obviously it’s better with the ‘bar, but the sound from the  kitchen one we find perfectly acceptable.

Any small flat TV is going to be limited in the sound it can produce; I wonder if a 32” Sony is going to be any better? But certainly, such is going to have to be Linux; and to avoid the back of it looking like a hedgehog, I recommend a Roku Stick, to provide all the Smart apps that the N5300 has and a Sony TV doesn’t, and which would require several service-branded sticks to cover otherwise.
