I just attached my new STR DN1050 to my Sony Bravia TV.
I have an issues with TV channels disappearing when I turn on the DN1050 receiver.
With the receiver in standby, I can view (for example) BBC News HD.
As soon as I turn the receiver on, I get a split second of audio from both the TV and the surround sound, then the feed goes dark (video and audio) and the the TV displays "No Signal".
If I put the DN1050 back into standby mode, video and audio are restored.
Firwmare / software on both TV and Receiver are up-to date, and other chanels such as (BBC1 HD) work fine.
I have tried toggling CEC and HDMI pass-through features, both of which have no effect.
Any suggesttions - really don't want to sent the STR back as it seems a great piece of kit?
Many thanks
Jim

Hi there
It sounds like some type of electronic 'EM' interferrence.
- Advise getting decent quality 'shielded' HDMI and aerial cables
- Separate the aerial cable as far as possible away from the HDMI and power cables (i.e. dont bundle them up together)
- Try some 'ferrite' cores - these can help. Need to get the right size to fit your aerial/HDMI/Power cables.
Cheers
