can't update KDL-40WE660

Hello all

I have the following problem. I cannot update my KDL-40WE660 tv, with the latest software version 8.235 either automatically either by usb. The current version is 8.233. Also, yesterday our tv stopped "reacting" to the commands of the remote control and after a few minutes a "reset" message poped-up and the tv reseted itself. Do you know why these things have happened?

Hi Vasilis,

Welcome to the Sony Community.

As you have already installed the v8.233 update, you will not be able to install the v8.235 Firmware update as it does not add any extra benefits. 

With regards your remote control not responding to certain commands, please take a look here for further help.
