I want to sell my old laptop sony vaio vgn n31s so i decided to make sure all of my data was erased. I inserted the recovery disk and clicked on VAIO UTILITY RECOVERY then selected wipe and erase data. After the process was completed ive tried to restart the computer put a message comes up and says 'operating system not found'.
I have a System recovery disk and a application recovery disk. The system recovery disk loads up the 'system recovery options' its asking for drivers to be loaded but none of the cd's have these drivers.
Is there anything I can do to get windows back on my laptop without buying windows vista again.

Hi hmistry1988,
Try tapping F10, at boot, to enter Recovery Center on the hidden partition. Have a look at the following guide.

You must be in a tough spot. I would suggest calling tech support here and verify if the disks that you used is the correct one.
Good luck.
