Hi - please help!

Hi, I'm rebuilding my VAIO VGN-FE11S for the second time in as many months, and I am having problems getting the following devices to work:-

- Network Controller
- PCI Device
- SM Bus Controller

I don't have a support disk so I'm using drivers downloaded from the Sony website. Last time I rebuilt the notebook these drivers worked fine for all the devices (except the last one I think), but this time I have painstakingly gone through every driver for each of there devices and there does not seem to be any that will get them working. Does anyone have any useful advice on what I can try next?

Really don't know what to suggest Sim if as you say they installed OK last time.

Have you clicked on 'Update Driver' for each of these devices and pointed manually at the directory you downloaded the Preinstalled Drivers into. Alternatively try pointing the wizard at c:\ so that it searches all of C:\ for a suitable driver.

What have you done differently this time? Is it the same Operating System?
