recovery utility/discs

my notebook did not come with the recovery discs. also when i tried to run the rcovery tool it wont work. anybody knows where i could get such recovery discs?

What happened when you ran the recovery tool?

it says : cannot start the vaio recovery utility because the recovery partition has been deleted
