Seeing battery time left

Hello, i just bought a vgn-fe1ss and i'm really glad about my choice, altought there is a little thing that is missing and is really important for me, that is the possiblity of seeing the remaing time of my battery, the fact of all i can see is % really dosen't help me

Does anyone knows any software that could see the battery time left on a vaio vng-fe11s?

Hi,

Although XP is capable of displaying the battery time remaining, it needs the BIOS to support this function.

There may be a setting you can change in the BIOS but I have not heard of anyone finding it - I am pretty sure Sony have 'forgotten' to include it!

If you really need this function, you will have to resort to third party software like BatteryMate XP

I haven't tried it but it looks pretty good for $7.50 and it seems to have a long free trial period.

Sony seem to hide it, thank god I have a BIOS which supports it
