Vaio PCG-F801 Wireless Lan Problem

G'Day!

I still got an old Vaio - and I got a problem connecting to the Internet (I'm using my new Vaio here VGN-A215M).
Or more correct - I do get contact and for about 10 to 15 minutes everything is just fine... - but than it just stops! The Software shows no problems - but I can not open the windows xp software showing the status (which I can as long as the first 10 minutes contact the the internet). I have to boot down waite awhile and than everything folws the same pattern...
I checked with my broadband provider - no problems on their side...
some laptop parameters:
windows xp with sp2
188 MB RAM
amd K6 Processor
531 MHz
Netgear USB Sick MA111
Siemens se515 router

Nein ich muss ihnen nicht nach der Nase reden. Das Problem ist nur das, wenn hier ein Problem gelöst wird. Stellt ein anderer die gleiche Frage noch einmal. Was deinem WLAN-problem angeht gib ich di recht. Ein Treiberupdate ist meist der falsche Anfang ein Problem zu lösen.
Denn meistens liegen die Probleme ganz woanders.

Allerdings finde ich es kindisch sich wegen einer dummen Bemerkung so aufzuregen. Und vieleicht noch als Antwort eine noch dümmere zu geben und sich dann wegen nichts zu streiten.

Fair point there molasses, you are new to the forum, but possibly you over reacted to Kee-Lo¿s remark about double posting. Not a hanging crime; this forum, despite what you may think at present, is a very friendly place and we all want to keep it that way. Everyone is here to help, where we can, so chill out, treat others with respect and enjoy.
