Missing Things After System Recovery

Ive just run a system recovery, and someone once told me on this forum i should i have the vaio camera capture utility pre built with my laptop(vaio ar21s) he also said if its not there do a system recovery.

Today ive ran a system rocvery (for a different reason) and installed all the drivers applications utilities etc and still i dont have the Vaio camera capture utility...any reasons why? and how i can download it?

I also dont seem to have the system resource management indicator by the system clock....how can i get it back there?

Hi a7med_360,

I don't think the system restore would be causing the problem..

If norton blocks the spyware but the popup remains it sounds like the infection has not been removed have you run a complete anti virus and spyware scan..?

For the spyware scan I suggest using something like the new AdAware 2007 Free or Spybot search and destroy ..

ive run a complete system scan already many times including custom scans but it doesnt detect anything ive deleted my temporary internet files but the norton report shows the files that is causing this, i delete them but with continous pop-ups downloading them its quite hard to see the actual cause...because its either a file which is allowing this or pop-ups downloading these files...its a really distraction every time i log onto www.club-vaio.com i get amazon pop-ups....wouldnt norton or windows detect spyware:| i never got this problem before my system recovery.............FYI all files are torjans....the security thing warns me a trojan.xxxxxx is trying to hack in but symantec blocked.....why isint it detected in the scans:|

There are a few files which are not being deleted which have saved themselves as part of the regis i delete them and re-scan and they appear again, pop-ups have decreased, but i still get some of them.....

This is a screenshot of the two files that are continously coming back after being deleted.

They are in Quarrentine so they should affect your system as they have been contained there is just not the capibility to delete them but later updates may deleted. Have had that happen before.

Ive just put them into quanteee after deleting them after 6scans.......i put it in quarntee to show you what two file they are and if you have any other ideas of how to delete them.

Yes this is the first time this happend to me ive never had a virus, or spyware etc my system is always very well protected but since i did a sysm recovery everything seems to be going wrong, i didnt connect to the internet until i had norton running..
